I’m a strategic communications and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience turning complex ideas into clear, compelling and meaningful communications for the people they need to reach.
My career has taken me across healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, finance, arts, retail and other industries. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to communicate with widely different audiences, tackle all kinds of creative challenges and continually adapt to new technologies and ways of telling stories.
I bring a combination of strategic, creative and hands-on expertise to my work. I develop communications strategies and campaigns, write and edit content, manage websites and digital channels, build brands, work with media, design publications and graphics, and produce photography and video. My experience also includes accessibility, print production, vendor coordination and project management.
What ties it all together is a simple belief: good communication starts with understanding the audience. From there, it’s about figuring out what matters, finding the clearest and most compelling way to communicate it, and choosing the right medium to make a connection.
I’m equally comfortable thinking about the big picture and getting into the details—whether I’m developing a communications strategy, shaping a story, designing a publication, producing a video, managing a website or spending far too long finding the one sentence that finally says exactly what it needs to say.
I’m a lifelong learner, a creative problem-solver and someone who genuinely enjoys the work. I’m happiest when I’m learning something new, tackling a challenge and using creativity and strategy to help meaningful work reach the people who need to know about it.
Thanks for taking the time to explore my work. I hope you enjoy looking through it as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.
